So Gaëtan and I decided that it was time to put an end to OpenHex and go separate ways. Even if we didn't achieve what we were aiming for, it was a nice trip and a very interesting experience nonetheless.
I will still be active in the python business and Gaëtan is still looking for an interesting job.
While our Rapid Web and Desktop Application Development framework will most likely decay in the heaven of aborted free software projects, we will continue to provide some limited support for relatorio and Elixir.
Most of our domain names (openhex.com, .be, .net, .eu) will disappear over time (ie won't be renewed next year), though openhex.org will stay up and running for the foreseeable future.

Python c'est cool. Mais la majorité des grands secteurs ne misent pas (encore?) sur ce framework, d'ailleurs "l'existant" pour la plupart tournent souvent sous du Microsoft ou du Sun Java (puisses-tu vivre encore assez longtemps). Ceci s'explique simplement par la qualité du support mais aussi la richesse et la flexibilité de ces technologies.
J'ai intégré Python dans mon Eclipse et j'avoues que me suis assez éclaté (sans toutefois connaitre toute la syntaxe), j'ai entendu qu'on utilisait Plone ça et là notamment dans le secteur public.
Enfin à quand l'Union Européenne se décidera t'elle de rééquilibrer et de protéger le know-how ainsi que les activités (in-sourcing) de ses Ingénieur/Développeurs ?
